Florida Auctions Offer Trucks, Heavy Equipment PDF Print E-mail

ADESA Atlanta and ADESA Jacksonville have teamed up to hold a two-day specialty sale of more than 500 heavy duty trucks and equipment at two separate Florida locations in February. This sale is open to both dealers and the general public.

Beginning Feb. 10 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., more than 350 units will be auctioned with no reserve floor price. The following day, Feb. 11, more than 200 units will be sold in Lauderhill, Fla. Transportation is available at both sale locations.

J.D. Larsh, ADESA's national operations manager, heavy duty trucks and equipment, said, "This is a great opportunity to purchase a variety of heavy duty trucks and equipment-ranging from flat beds to yellow iron road graters, assorted box trucks, back hoes, paving machines and much more."

Highlights of equipment to be sold include paving machines, rollers, wood chippers, tar pot, yard dog, aerial lift, bull dozers, back hoes, road graters, generators, mini excavator and a front-end loader. Most of the trucks will be featured during the sale on Feb. 11, including box trucks, grappling trucks, debris trucks, cab and chassis, road tractors and a wrecker.

"It's not every day that a sales event like this comes together. We're pleased to be able to offer this extensive range of trucks and equipment," said Jane Morgan, president of ADESA's specialty sales division.
